HPIM0755El Cubanito Cigars
Cigar Review / Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro 5 x50
Origin: Esteli Nicaragua

Wrapper: appearance is relatively smooth, very minute veins and some tooth but overall smoothness is the norm.
Cap: double
Feel: evenly firm overall
Prelight sniff: mild barnyard

On light up the draw is good , first impression is earthy and some obvoius nuttiness.

The finish is short in the first third, there is a notable sweet note along with the nuttiness, no real spice at this point but smooth and tastey.

So far the burn is even , draw is ample and the ash is a nice grey

At about an inch in to this stogie review and the sweetness is joined by a subtle spiceyness.

The strength is medium, as is the body at this point. The brun has become a bit jagged but nothing extreme, needing a fix.

About 2 inches down and the ash is holding firm. Nice and grey, some black blotchiness noted.

The body is still medium and the nutty sweetness is still predominant.

For a Nicaraguan cigar the spice is minimal, and nose hale is smooth with no heat . The burn at the midway point has not evened up but still ok. a quick toouch up with the torch and onward

AHH! and then there was spice, some good black pepper on the tongue and in the nose, right past the midway point.

Down to the back end this stogie has been smooth, nutty, sweet and spicey. Sounds like a chinese dinner. Its medium body was consistent throughout.

All in all a good smoke for a reasonable price range of about 5-6 bucks a stick

see you next time, Sit Back RELAX and have a cigar.
